Whispers of Bliss

In the moonlight’s embrace, I felt You quietly in sighs, glances, and even silence.

The goodbyes were just as quiet, crafted only for you.

Not in light, nor name, did you belong to me,

but when something feels so right, how can that be wrong?

Even laughter was a melody meant for my ears alone.

It enveloped me in warmth, placed deep in my chest,

a secret I dare not reveal, for it was shunned.

Where love donned a mask, wish was set ablaze, and hope twinkled bright.

We twirled amid the silent golden shadows, where rules could never put their fangs in.

I etched down your name on my mind’s walls.

Each letter painstakingly woven into secrets I tried so hard to keep hidden.

We were gentle stars, wrapped in whispers of silver…

“Stars, tell me, how can it be wrong if it feels this blissful?”

And with love entwined and bound to shame in a “pure” sense,

marked with a true name, wrapped in vows, so they say.

But wild heart chose to carelessly take flight…

Bound to you, tender northern embrace, my only glimmer.

So if you must judge me, so be it,

for I wove this bittersweet ache from forms beyond mere dust.

Even though fate’s bound us with its wrath,

So tell me, does it not feel out of place…

when it feels so blissful?
