Say It Kindly

A quiet truth I’ve been holding onto lately…

About honesty, kindness, and the weight words carry.

I used to think it was enough to just say things the way they are. To point out the facts plainly, as if clarity alone was kindness. But I’ve learned that sometimes the hardest part of truth isn’t the words themselves, it’s how they land in our hearts.

“The truth may be vital, but without love, it’s unbearable.”

I’ve learned that honesty without warmth feels like standing naked in a storm, exposed, shivering, and utterly alone.

What we say matters, yes. But how we say it… that’s what leaves scars or begins the healing.

So if you must give the truth, please wrap it in gentleness. Let it come with love, or don’t bring it at all.

I’m still learning this. Everyday
